APJ Abdul Kalam's Life
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, also known as APJ Abdul Kalam, was an Indian scientist and politician who served as the President of India from 2002 to 2007. Born on October 15, 1931, in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, he came from a humble background and worked hard to achieve his goals. Kalam was a pioneer in India's space and missile technology programs and was fondly referred to as the "Missile Man of India." Early Life and Education Kalam was the youngest of five siblings, and his parents were Jainulabdeen, a boat owner, and Ashiamma, a housewife. Despite being from a poor family, Kalam was a bright student and showed a keen interest in science and mathematics from a young age.
